- Logan Township United was the recipient of a 2007 FEMA grant in the amount of $126,000. This will used to replace aging fire equipment that is mostly over 20 years old.
- United received certification as a First Reponse Rescue service through the Department of Health and the Fire Comissioners Office in December.
